When we originally launched SALT Society, we did so because we wanted to build a community where positive, like-minded stylists and salon owners could come together to learn, grow, and share. We were tired of the negativity and competition and bullying that a large portion of the industry has come to embody, and we were tired of waiting around for somebody else to do something about it.
But we’re not stopping there.
In an effort to take this to the next level, we’re launching the Salt Society Community of Learning, a subscription program that will deliver you life- and career-changing content directly to your inbox. Here’s a look at what it includes!
What is the SALT Society Community of Learning?
To put it simply, the Community is a monthly subscription that will give you access to content that you can use to advance in your career and reach all of your unique goals. We want you to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be, both when you’re behind the chair and when you’re at home.
By signing up for the membership, you’ll receive:
- 30-60 minutes of video content each month
- Member-only content, including downloadable assets like PDFs, formula guides, and head sheets
- Access to our private Facebook group, which will put you in touch with members of our team as well as all of the other community members
- Access to members-only merchandise
The content and lessons in the membership are arranged around three key pillars: Personal development, business development, and professional development. Each month, you’ll receive content on all three of these pillars so that you can create a more profitable business, build a brand and atmosphere that your team and clientele will love, and live a more balanced, fulfilling life.
1. Professional Development
This is content that will help you improve your skills as a stylist. We’re talking about the nitty-gritty of our industry: Hair tutorials, different ways you can add more value to your clients and bring in more money for yourself, hair education that will help you feel more confident and powerful behind the chair.

As you know, stylists tend to be emotional sponges. We absorb the thoughts, feelings, hopes, desires, and fears of everyone around us, including our coworkers and our clients. After all, if we’ve given 90% of our emotional capacity to our clients on any given day, that doesn’t leave much for us to give to our family and friends!

This is content that will give you ways to feel more confident in your personal brand and business brand, offer you tools to integrate business policies throughout your business, and other helpful templates and tools that will help you protect yourself.

The subscription is only $29.95 per month. If you choose to pay for the whole year in a single payment, it’ll cost you $300—giving you two months for free!
2. How often will you be adding new content?
Every single month! The first Monday of every month, we will be releasing new content for each pillar so that you can learn at your own pace.
3. What other support do I get?
One of the coolest perks of signing up for the membership is that you’ll gain access to our private Facebook Group.
