In the world of social media and the power of still images floating all over the internet, it's a challenge for us artists to reign in the expectations of our guests… Here is one way we combat this issue at my salon

1. Pre online consultation: When a guest is looking to book an appointment we always have them send current photos of their hair and possible goal photos so we can adjust the duration of their appointment. Based on these photos we give them an estimate based off of their goals. We breakdown each service they may need and if it needs to be broken down into multiple sessions.

2. This is one way to make a guest aware of how much they may spend, and have them understand what we can achieve within their appointment.

3. The other ways we ensure realistic expectations are through our clear and concise consultation process.
