Learning Objectives

Our SALT Society educator, Christine Turek (@painthatmane) is traveling to the beautiful Maven Salon in Hanover, NH!  During this class, you will learn about all things Color Theory! Christine will also be diving into our Society System™ giving you the power to be inspired, gain confidence, creativity, and become a part of the new empowered hair generation!

This class is going to be SO loaded with knowledge bombs and information you can immediately take back to your chair - You won’t want to miss it!

• Hair analysis
• Protein vs Moisture 
• Mineral build up and how to address it
• Managing expectations of lift 
• The importance of developer choice
• The benefits of adding warmth 
• Copper and Red formulation
• Gray coverage
• Color correction
• Purposeful formulation 

Visual Demo -

• Melting demo
• Proper formulation for melting
• The purpose of melting and how to achieve the best blend

Mental Creative Release (hands on portion) -

• Using 3 primary colors to open artistic channels and understand the power of mixing these colors together.
• Working with swatches to test formulas and understand what warmth, ash, and neutral can change about a formula.
• Finding solutions to common formulation mistakes.
• Bringing formulation back to the creative side of your brain.
• Formulating for proper tone as opposed to just canceling something out.

Class Breakdown 

Theory - 9:00am - 11:00am 

Demo - 11:00am - 12:00pm 

Lunch (provided) - 12:00pm - 1:00pm 

Hands on - 1:00pm - 3:00pm
